Why Apricots are so good for you
IRON! Yes, dried apricots are a good source of iron. The iron content of dried apricots varies depending on the moisture and sulfuration level, but it can range from 2.6 mg to 6.31 mg per 100 g. This can provide up to 45% of the recommended daily allowance of iron for an average person. The vitamin C in dried apricots also helps with iron absorption. However, dried apricots alone may not be enough to meet the daily iron intake. But adding these to your diet will get you and your little one closer to your daily needs Remember IRON=ENERGY
How easy is this to make?
This no baking, simple ingredients, one tool, 20 minutes from start to finish recipe is sooooo easy to make that I barely even need to write a post about it But I will.
Okay so this is how we make it: we take ALL our ingredients and toss it into a food processor and blend on high for several minutes until well combined. Then we roll into the size of ball you like (I end up making around 20-25), keep half in the fridge to snack right away and the other half in the freezer to maintain freshness VOILA!
