Gluten-free, Vegan
These bliss balls are super easy to put together since they don’t need a food processor, they require no baking, and all the ingredients are usually pantry staples. And of course it has the best combination to every exist to mankind….. PEANUT BUTTER AND CHOCOLATE! I mean anything that has peanut butter and chocolate, is, in my opinion, a little piece of heaven. Or a big piece!

HOW TO MAKE THESE OATMEAL CHOCOLATE CHIP BLISS BALLS
This Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Bliss Ball recipe only requires ONE BOWL which is why we love it so much (and the fact that this will be the tastiest bliss ball you will ever eat- that’s healthy and naturally sweetened!)
Begin by melting your peanut butter, honey and coconut oil in the microwave, then add the rest of the ingredients- minus the chocolate chips! If you add the chocolate chips right away, they will melt, and this will then become a pure chocolate bliss ball- which, hey, isn’t too bad either! But for the sake of keeping this recipe as beautiful and amazing as it is, let’s wait for the ingredients to cool down first. About 20 minutes in the fridge.
Mix in your chocolate chips, roll into balls, and place back in the fridge for an hour to solidify.
Let’s see how long it takes you to eat this entire batch- I doubt much longer than a week!

SUBSTITUTIONS AND STORING

If you or someone has an aversion to the taste of coconut, try them first because you cannot taste coconut AT ALL- it only adds to the sweetness of the recipe. You can substitute with more oats, some of your favorite nuts or even a scoop of protein powder for an added protein punch.
Peanut Butter is my favorite nut butter in this recipe, but you can use almond, cashew or even tahini!
This Chocolate Chip Bliss Ball recipe last up to 3 weeks in the fridge, and 2 months in the freezer.
These are a great snack for kids after school because they are cute and fun to eat, but mostly because they taste just like a peanut butter and oatmeal chocolate chip cookie. NOW THAT’S A WIN WITH KIDS IN MY BOOKS!
When it’s a hot summer day, and you don’t want to turn on the oven, this is especially nice to make.
This, my friends, is the easiest treat you can make. I hope you enjoy them as much as we do!
Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Bliss Balls
No bake easy treats that seriously tastes so good they won't last long at all!
Ingredients
- 1 cup GF oats
- 2/3 cup shredded coconut *see notes in body of post
- 3/4 cup natural organic peanut butter
- 1/3 cup melted honey
- 2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
- 3/4 cup dark vegan chocolate chips
Instructions
Combine melted honey, peanut butter and melted coconut oil.
Add in oats and shredded coconut
Mix in chocolate chips until combined
Using a spoon, scoop out enough to form balls of your liking. If the mixture is too soft due to the melted honey and coconut oil, place the "glob" on a wax paper lined cutting board, then place in the fridge for about 25mins or until hard enought to roll.
Roll into balls and store in fridge.
